Better for you, better for the environment

Standard farming methods often use chemicals that can accelerate the growth of the produce therefore causing it to contain more water. This can affect the nutrient quality of the product as well as the overall taste of the food. Conventional food products can also contain a range of additives to enhance flavour and shelf life. Health and nutrition should be paramount to what we buy, so when you have the choice of flavoursome, delicious healthy food (as nature intended) versus chemically-enhanced products, the choice should be simple.

Organic Apples

Did you know that Apples orginate from Central Asia, and that the proverb "An apple a day keeps the doctor away," addressing the health effects of the fruit, dates from 19th century Wales ?

Research suggests that apples may reduce the risk of colon cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer. Compared to many other fruits and vegetables, apples contain relatively low amounts of Vitamin C as well as several other antioxidant compounds.
